Acceptable use policy

This document is in preparation with US telecom counsel ahead of public launch. The summary below describes what the final document will cover. For the current draft or to discuss specifics ahead of launch, email legal@kelir.io.

Kelir's acceptable use policy governs what customers can and can't do with their cellular line. The policy is critical for protecting our carrier relationships — abuse on Kelir lines threatens delivery for every other customer, so the rules are firm.

What it will cover
  • Prohibition on unsolicited commercial calls (TCPA compliance is mandatory).
  • Prohibition on robocalls and predictive-dialer use without explicit prior consent.
  • A2P 10DLC SMS compliance — pre-registration required for transactional and marketing volume.
  • Prohibition on illegal content (CSAM, fraud, harassment).
  • Prohibition on resale of Kelir lines as a wholesale telephony service.
  • Enforcement: warning, suspension, termination, legal escalation.
  • Reporting abuse: abuse@kelir.io.
