Auto-attendant

The recorded greeting and routing logic a caller hears before reaching a person — "Thanks for calling Acme. Our hours are…"

An auto-attendant is the automated greeting that plays when someone calls a business number, before the call routes to a person, voicemail, or IVR menu. "Thanks for calling Kelir. We're available Monday through Friday, nine to six Eastern."

Auto-attendants typically include: a custom greeting (TTS or upload), working-hours logic (route to people during hours, route to voicemail after hours), holiday overrides, and sometimes a brief "for fastest service, press 1 for…" hook.

A simple auto-attendant is the smallest meaningful upgrade from a raw cellular line. It tells callers when you're available, routes after-hours appropriately, and signals professionalism. Most small businesses don't need a multi-level IVR — they need a clean auto-attendant.

Kelir includes auto-attendant on every plan, configurable per number.
