Working hours

A business-phone setting that defines when a number rings (during hours) versus routes to voicemail or forwarding (outside hours).

Working hours are the schedule of when a business phone number is "active" — calls ring during those hours, and calls outside the schedule route to voicemail, forwarding, or an after-hours IVR. Most small-business phone systems support per-day schedules and holiday overrides.

For solo professionals, working hours are the work-life boundary made real: 6 pm hits, the work line goes to voicemail, the personal line stays on.

For teams, working hours per-department let each department have its own schedule (sales 9–6, support 24/7, billing weekdays only) without affecting the others.

Kelir supports per-number working hours with day-of-week scheduling, holiday overrides, and an "outside hours" routing chain (voicemail, custom greeting, forwarding to a covering provider, etc.). Configurable from the portal at app.kelir.io.
